Lisa Abeyta is the Founder and CEO of APPCityLife, Inc., a civic tech corporation providing an end-to-end mobile platform solution for cities, nonprofits, and PaaS and SaaS companies. She is also cofounder of Hautepreneurs, a peer network and accelerator for women entrepreneurs. In addition, she is cofounder of HauteHopes, a nonprofit organization providing peer-based lending in partnership with Nusenda Foundation and Living Cities Foundation, as well as scholarships and access to a yearlong accelerator free of charge to disadvantaged women in order to foster greater financial independence and successful businesses among women.

As a CEO, Lisa has raised over $1 Million in Venture Capital, negotiated successful acquisitions and partnerships and grown a tech company from solopreneur to a thriving company with offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and New York City. At the invitation of New Mexico Congresswoman Michelle Grisham, Lisa serves as a member of the Small Business Advisory Council. Locally, she sits on the Albuquerque Women's Entrepreneur and Business Council. She is also the Chairperson of STEMabq, an advisory committee to the Mayor of Albuquerque.

Lisa is a columnist for Inc, a 2015 Top 10 LinkedIn Contributor for Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital and an IconNext contributor to Huffington Post. She is a 2014 Women In Technology Recognition award winner and was named a 2014 Woman of Influence. Since 2013, she has served as a judge for the Stevie Business Awards for Women and is a national speaker on the topics of smart cities, civic tech, STEM and women in tech.
